You know what I mean.
I don’t even need to write all of the details - about what “stuff,” is going on in everyone’s your life.
Busy is the Word for Holiday preparations…. and then add life into the mix. What do we have?
A Lot of Stuff. Stuff – that is getting in the way of the Cross.
The Cross has a message.
I was laying in bed last night thinking about a recent conversation that is summed up by this…
“It is a shame that there are people who allow decisions, talk, and busy day-to-day life to interfere with the testimony of the Gospel. The very testimony that Christ bore on the Cross for us.”
If we hold this Gospel as our “Life-Line,”… then we need to not let stuff get in the way of its visibility.
Have you lost sight of The Message of The Cross?
Is my vision blurred with stress, ideas, people, problems, and life?
It is Easter – Where Jesus meets us WHERE we are.
- Yes, He met Mary when she frantically searched for His body in the tomb. He asked her why she was afraid.
- He met the Disciples, when they had their greatest needs, and comforted them with His Presence, and then rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart.
He meets us where we need Him today.
His message on the Cross is clear. Yet, we are letting Stuff – get in the way.
Lay it at the Cross my friends.
Look to the Savior Who is waiting to meet you THERE.
Are you feeling the weight of the world this week? Have a lot of “stuff,” going on in your life?
Come back to the Cross – Make time for Easter. Every day.
My faith has found a resting place, not in device nor creed; I trust the ever-living One, his wounds for me shall plead. I need no other argument, I need no other plea, It is enough that Jesus died, and that he died for me.
Take a Few Steps To Lead You Back Today:
1.) De-Clutter Your Mind - Write out the issues that are clouding your vision – Pray over them One by One.
Do this. He is waiting.
2.)Make a simple plan for you or your family for the weekend.
Perhaps you haven’t even thought about this yet?
Easter has a message, Bring it to the table and share your heart.
Prepare this now - Lead your family there this weekend.
3.)Pursue Peace. Let the Message of the Cross resonate In you and Through you.
Take time and Reflect on the Message of the Cross.
