Preserving Made Simple – The Bounty

WAIT!  Don’t run away!  It is not as hard as the pictures make it look.  Don’t believe the horror stories of hot steam, back-breaking work, and expensive appliances. Would you like to follow along as we walk through canning and preserving the bounty God has given us?

I will show you HOW easy, enjoyable, and rewarding this process can be.

To start us off – A few pictures that my 14-year-old daughter took when I was exercising one afternoon.  She and her brother worked together to get some beans canned, and they are beautifully lining my shelves for the winter.

Really – At least consider this as something new to try.  Give it a whirl this summer.  Time?  It can be done in between everything you do – you are not bound to the kitchen.

Ok – here we go..

Pictures first – details later.

I always think it looks so pretty to have all those jars lined up. I’ve done it a couple of times, but never stuck with it. Not sure why.
