What About Pretend?!

You may be overwhelmed with life today.

I am tired.  I am a busy mom, a frazzled wife, and a delinquint blogger.

It seems as if I am overwhelmed with life today.  The whole month of August has seemed to be a little much.  Life doesn’t stop moving for me to take a break, and certainly doesn’t afford me the luxury of taking time off.

I am sure some of you are feeling the same way right now.  School supplies, new schedules, meal planning, deadlines, and  jobs adjustments can keep us feeling like we are skimming through life, and not even touching on what is really important in a day.

There is no room for pretending.

I…do….not….have…it…all….together.

Read here to share a glimpse inside the heart of blogging and my real – life… Allume.

The rest of the story.

Thank you for writing this post.  I am a new homeschool mom this year, a wife, and mother of 4 girls.  I feel stressed at times, overwhelmed about our decision to homeschool, even though I am a teacher, and find myself not being patient enough too much recently.  As I read your blog and a couple of others, I am so encouraged and feel supported by other moms out there, yet at other times, I do feel as if many others have it all together and are doing it all the right way, and I’m not.  Then I read this post, and I am very thankful that I’m not the only one that doesn’t always have every duck in a perfect row.  🙂  Thank you for sharing your heart!
