I usually get more thrilled about sharing something with you, when I am living it – in- real-life. What is going to make my life a little a lot easier now?
WHY? Because we have ALWAYS had a toddler, baby or pre-schooler in our family while we are schooling. Today was the first day of school ( homeschooling) for our home for this year. We have been homeschooling since our oldest was four, ( or 2, as most home schoolers would say), and I have encountered the same situations the first week of school – every year.
Yes.. you guessed it… not the easiest mix, and very frustrating at times.
Here is ONE of the solutions that a great friend reminded me of today. Something we have used in the past, and I have let go by the wayside. Tsssk… tsssk.
BUSY BAGS…
You can create your own, have a busy bag swap, or keep a neat tote to rotate.
Be sure to mark/label the age appropriate bags ( safety for choking hazards, etc.)
You can go simple and store your activities in Heavy duty Zipper Bags, or a Basic Plastic Bag.
Either way – what a huge relief for MOM!
Here are a few of my absolute favorites for the PRE-K Age group…(You can click on the picture for more details).
