I suppose you have it figured out that I am a plain Jane kind of gal. Simple, earthy and no-fuss.
In the eyes of the fashion world, I was a late bloomer. I didn’t begin wearing any make-up until I was 30 years young. ( Not for lack of my mom repeatedly trying to teach me, encourage me and lead me in the way.) I just didn’t care, and I preferred my creamy skin, and no fuss days over the thought of learning something I didn’t really see a need for.
Thus, embarking on a new journey all together. I discovered the value of exercise and beauty. Natural beauty.
The slow “un-covering” of who I was as a woman ( setting aside my motherhood, friend, sister, daughter, etc ), was the key to un-locking the real me. The gal who really does love simple – yet, all things beautiful.

This week – The Eyes:
The Eyes Are The Window To The Soul – Every season of life can be seen through our eyes. I look back through pictures and can see the spring, summer and winter of my spiritual life in my eyes. I have learned to see other’s through my own eyes of understanding and know that seasons are good. The depth of compassion, sincerity and trust are evident in our gaze. Learning to look into the heart, is a life lesson beyond the markings of beauty or outward appearances.
